Holy Molly, what a day!!!
We started the day with a community workout at 9:30am at 210 Rampart Street. We were so touched that so many of our original/very early members showed up. The rain almost held up as we ran a 15 minute AMRAP of 10m to 50m walking lunges, run the rest of the 400m, 15 air squats, 10 push ups. Some wore a weight vest, everyone wore a smile. We ended the “class” with a 12 minute EMOM of 30 second plank, 30 V-ups or tuck ups, and 30 sec partner leg throw downs.
Then we started moving the mats and everything else left in the gym. As one of our coaches said, it felt like a giant plate of spaghetti. You kept eating it and the plate never got smaller. But we got everything moved and then some in record time. We were ahead of schedule for the first time in this year-long process and we were able to start setting up the new gym!
Thank you to everyone who showed up for the very last workout at 210 Rampart Street. We are absolutely blown away by the love and support of our community. THANK YOU SO MUCH especially to those of you who stayed/showed up to clean and move all those mats and equipment!!!!!! We are all still out here setting up and we are grateful that not only are our members kind, they are STRONG!
We are so excited to start the next chapter with you and looking forward to our first week in the new space!
