If you are doing the WOD on Friday, please make sure you have a judge!! If you are judging, please don’t be afraid to no-rep! You are helping them become a better athlete by doing so! If you are not comfortable no-repping someone, grab a coach and let them know.
For your first weekly fitness challenge, I give you…
-you may use any grip, switch grips mid-hang, but the time stops when your foot/feet come in contact with the ground, rig, box, etc. and you are no longer “hanging in air”. You may not use straps.
1st place man and woman will each get 3 points, 2nd place will get 2 points, and 3rd place will get 1 point
You will actually have the entire 5 weeks to complete the first lifestyle challenge. You can participate every week and get a maximum of 5 points where one activity = 1 point/person/week for this challenge.
This is your chance to try something you’ve been thinking about trying for a while! Sign up or engage in an activity that you have never ever done before.
For example: axe throwing (Lumberjaxe), indoor climbing (Inner Peaks), aerial yoga, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, sky diving, skiing/snowboarding, various activities at the National White Water Center, sign up for your first road race (for non-runners), archery (Barefoot Archery), etc.
The next week’s challenge will be announced on 2/26 (Monday). Starting next week, the challenges will run from Tuesday till Monday (noon) unless otherwise specified.
